JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Site Mechanical Supervisor, you will play a central role in the planning, organization and execution of mechanical projects at our mining sites.

RESPONSABILITIES

• Supervise all mechanical activities on mine sites to ensure safe, efficient and compliant execution;
• Plan mechanical work in collaboration with project managers and engineers;
• Ensure technical follow-up of projects by validating plans, estimates and specifications;
• Carry out regular site inspections to monitor progress, resolve technical problems and ensure work quality;
• Communicate regularly with customers, subcontractors and other partners to maintain optimum synergy;
• Manage, train and supervise the mechanics, welders and day laborers on the maintenance team;
• Prepare detailed progress reports for management and stakeholders;
• Perform all other related tasks associated with the position.

QUALIFICATIONS

• DEP in construction equipment mechanics or other equivalent training;
• Relevant experience in mechanical site supervision, ideally in the mining sector (minimum 3 years);
• Excellent team management and work coordination skills;
• Excellent knowledge of mining safety standards and industrial mechanical processes;
• Leadership, autonomy and rigor in the day-to-day management of operations;
• Mobility for occasional trips to different mining sites.
