JOB DESCRIPTION

RESPONSABILITIES

• Supervise and coordinate all activities on dike and tailings facility construction sites;
• Plan civil works in collaboration with project managers, engineers and field crews;
• Ensure that work complies with plans, specifications, technical specifications and applicable standards;
• Manage work teams and subcontractors, ensuring optimal productivity and a safe environment;
• Carry out regular inspections to monitor progress, identify and resolve technical problems promptly;
• Maintain constant communication with project managers, customers, subcontractors and other partners;
• Ensure strict application of safety standards and environmental best practices on all sites;
• Perform all other related tasks associated with the position.

QUALIFICATIONS

• DEC in civil engineering or equivalent training;

• Minimum 3 years’ experience supervising major civil worksites, ideally in the mining sector (dams and tailings ponds);

• Excellent ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and coordinate multiple stakeholders in the field;

• Good knowledge of standards and regulations applicable to civil engineering works in mining environments;

• Skills in reading and validating technical drawings and specifications;

• Mobility for occasional trips to different mining sites.
