As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing and carrying out major dike and tailings facility projects. Your expertise and leadership will ensure the success of projects, from conception to completion.

RESPONSABILITIES

  • Plan, coordinate and supervise the execution of dam and tailings facility construction projects, from design to delivery;
  • Ensure the technical design of civil engineering works by carrying out the necessary calculations and validating plans and specifications in accordance with current standards;
  • Manage budgets, schedules and resources to ensure efficient execution in line with customer expectations;
  • Coordinate the multidisciplinary teams involved in the project, including engineers, subcontractors and workers;
  • Maintain constant communication with customers, subcontractors and other stakeholders to ensure project synergy and success;
  • Produce technical and progress reports for management and customers;
  • Perform all other related tasks associated with the position.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering;
  • Be a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec;
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in managing major civil infrastructure projects, ideally in the mining sector (dams and tailings ponds);
  • Proficiency in Autocad, Civil 3D and MS Project;
  • Solid expertise in team management and coordination of complex projects;
  • In-depth knowledge of standards and regulations applicable to dykes and tailings management facilities;
  • Mobility for occasional trips to different mining sites.
