RESPONSABILITIES

• Analyze, understand and solve technical problems of various kinds in the context of industrial mechanics;
• Perform the 3D design of various mechanical projects, as well as the calculations and analyzes necessary to validate these concepts while respecting the constraints of the environment as well as the customer’s specifications.
• Actively participate in carrying out small or medium-sized multidisciplinary mandates within a work team made up of engineers and technicians;
• Carry out study or detailed engineering mandates for clients with existing facilities or for clients wishing to expand or build new facilities;
• Prepare plans and specifications based on guidelines for mechanical mandates;
• Perform detailed calculations under the supervision of experienced engineers;
• Prepare lists and schedules of materials in accordance with codes, standards, drawings and other established methods while respecting the requirements of the quality system defined by the company;
• Assist senior staff in technical aspects of more complex tasks;
• Execute technical information statements at customers.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Hold a bachelor degree in mechanical engineering;
• Be a member of l’Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec;
• Master the Microsoft Office suite;
• Master Autocad;
• Master MS Project.
• Have a good knowledge of the mining industry (asset);
• Being bilingual (written and oral) is an asset;
